Is it effective for treating acne, and is it also good for the small bumps that appear on dry cheeks?

Even though my cheeks tend to be dry, I occasionally get small bumps or blemishes, so I am looking into acne treatments. I usually thought that acne occurs on oily skin with a lot of sebum, but my cheeks feel tight quickly after washing my face, and even though I don't have much oil, bumpy areas appear.

If you use plenty of moisturizing cream, the tightness is reduced, but if you apply heavy products, the pores feel clogged, making it difficult to manage.

Can I expect acne treatment to be effective even on such dry skin? I am also curious if the management methods differ for oily skin and skin with internal dryness when treating acne. Sebum or I am worried that excessive exfoliation might actually make my cheeks drier. Could we check the skin condition of each area before proceeding?

I would also like to know if it is necessary to check the skin barrier or oil-moisture balance before treating acne.

Rather than getting rid of all the bumps immediately, I want to manage my skin troubles without causing severe dryness. I would also like to consult about post-procedure moisturizing care and choosing everyday cosmetics.
