Is the acne treatment effective even if red marks remain on the cheeks?

I am looking into acne treatments because red marks sometimes linger for a while even after small blemishes on my cheeks have subsided. Even if the acne itself isn't severe, the marks stay on for so long that my skin tone looks uneven, and it feels like a constant cycle if new breakouts appear in the meantime. Since the redness sometimes remains even if I wait without squeezing the pimples, I am wondering what kind of care is necessary.

Can I expect effective acne treatment on this type of skin? I would like to know if undergoing treatment includes not only managing existing breakouts but also care to prevent new ones from forming. I am also curious about how to manage the existing red marks and whether a separate procedure is necessary.

If I start acne treatment, I would like to know if it is better to wait until the breakouts have completely subsided, or if it can be performed depending on my skin condition even if minor inflammation remains. Rather than undergoing harsh procedures to quickly remove marks, I prefer to manage existing ones slowly to minimize new breakouts and avoid putting undue stress on my skin.
