I'm thinking of getting lip fillers for the first time. Will it be very painful?

I am leaving an inquiry as I am considering lip fillers for the first time.

My lips aren't naturally thin, but I'm worried that my upper lip line is a bit blurry and my mouth looks plain in photos.

So I'm looking into lip fillers. I don't want it to look too obvious or get excessively plump; I'd prefer it to just slightly refine the lines haha. But I've heard that lip fillers are quite painful, so I'm getting scared.

I am wondering if it is quite painful even with anesthesia, or if it is bearable for someone receiving it for the first time.

I would also like to know how long the swelling lasts after lip fillers. I often have plans on weekends, so if the swelling lasts a long time, I think I will have to adjust my schedule. Would it be okay to get a filler consultation even if I only want to naturally define my lip line?

I'm also curious if it's possible to do it without it feeling too artificial. Haha.
