I thoroughly soak a very thin, sponge-type cotton pad with a hydrating toner, place it firmly on the areas with severe dead skin cells, and dry my hair for five minutes. Doing this allows the flaky dead skin to absorb moisture and soften, while lowering my skin temperature so that my foundation adheres perfectly. Investing just five minutes in the morning allows me to last all day without my makeup flaking.
