Whenever the windy transitional season arrives, white flakes of dead skin inevitably appear around my nose and mouth, causing me immense stress every time I apply base makeup. I found that scrubbing them off too aggressively only irritated my skin further, making it redder. So, the routine I chose to get through the changing seasons is the '5-Minute Morning Skin Pack'! I thoroughly soak a very thin, sponge-type cotton pad with a hydrating toner, place it firmly on the areas with severe dead skin cells, and dry my hair for five minutes. Doing this allows the flaky dead skin to absorb moisture and soften, while lowering my skin temperature so that my foundation adheres perfectly. Investing just five minutes in the morning allows me to last all day without my makeup flaking.
