The hyaluronic acid ingredient actually feels like it makes things drier.

Lately, everyone has been making such a fuss about hyaluronic acid being a "moisture bomb," so I switched my ampoule and cream to that line. But strangely enough, it feels hydrating only for a brief moment right after application; after just a short while, my skin feels like it's cracking even more. It looks shiny on the surface, but the dryness deep inside feels much worse than before.
I looked it up, and since hyaluronic acid has the property of drawing moisture from the surroundings, I heard that applying it in a dry environment could actually draw moisture out of the skin. Is that really the reason? Or maybe it just doesn't suit my skin...
