The secret to peeled egg-like skin: the MTS roller + stem cell ampoule combination

Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a great weekend. Haha. Today, for the first time in a while, I stayed home, got some good rest, and enjoyed my own personal self-care day. Today, I’d like to share in detail the 'MTS Roller Ampoule Treatment,' a special care routine I make sure to do every weekend to improve my skin texture and manage pores in my butterfly zone!

Usually, when you go to a dermatologist to manage pores or scars, there are many treatments available, like Fraxel, needle radiofrequency, and skin booster injections, right? I’d like to try them too, but even though they are quite expensive, what bothers me most as a working professional is the downtime—my face gets severely red and scabs form, preventing me from wearing makeup for several days. That’s just too much of a burden for me, so I haven't been able to bring myself to go ahead with it.

So, after a frantic search, I found out about a home-use MTS roller that I could use safely at home. It works on the principle of creating tiny holes on the skin's surface with a roller densely packed with very fine micro-needles, allowing the active ingredients of expensive ampoules to be absorbed deep into the dermis layer without sitting on the surface.

At first, the mere thought of rolling a needle on my own face with my own hands was terrifying and seemed like it would be painful, but once I actually bought it and tried it, using the shortest 0.25mm beginner needle and going gently, it just stung a little—like lightly rubbing my face with an Italian towel—and wasn't painful enough to make me cry lol.

The method is simpler than you might think! After cleansing your face thoroughly and leaving nothing on, spray the roller with rubbing alcohol to disinfect it meticulously. Then, apply a generous amount of your expensive stem cell culture fluid ampoule or EGF peptide regenerating ampoule—which you usually use sparingly because you don't want to waste it—enough to make it drip down your entire face. Next, gently roll the roller in a cross shape, moving it horizontally and vertically, without pressing too hard. Pay particular attention to the butterfly zone next to the nose and the area between the eyebrows where you are concerned about enlarged pores; roll the roller more thoroughly multiple times while applying some tension.

After rolling it all over my face like this for about 5 minutes, my face feels hot and red due to the tiny scratches. At this point, if I immediately apply a very cold Cica soothing mask pack that I've kept in the refrigerator beforehand, the heat sensation completely subsides, and the cooling effect feels amazing. When I take it off after 20 minutes, I can really feel with my fingertips that my skin feels firm and taut, as if it has absorbed the ampoule from deep within, unlike when I usually apply skincare with my hands!

When I wake up the next day and wash my face, my skin texture feels incredibly smooth, as if it had been ironed. The way makeup applies is so different that I find myself going through this bothersome and slightly stinging process every week like someone addicted, haha.

One thing to keep in mind is that since needles are used, you must disinfect the roller really thoroughly. Also, if you rub too hard trying to speed up healing, you could actually scratch your skin, causing hyperpigmentation and damage, so you absolutely must roll it gently! And because your skin will be sensitive for a few days afterward, you need to slather on sunscreen and go all out on moisturizing lol.

It is a bit of a hassle and requires some precautions, but I highly recommend it to anyone who doesn't have time to go to a dermatologist and wants to enjoy skin texture improvement at home that rivals a professional aesthetic clinic!! If you happen to use any other great home care devices (like galvanic or radio frequency devices!), please recommend them in the comments, sharing the pros and cons~ I am always ready to empty my wallet ㅠㅠ
