The reason I can never quit modeling packs at home, even though it's a hassle lol

Hello everyone! Are you all enjoying a relaxing weekend evening? I just finished giving my fish tank a thorough water change, and while quietly watching the shrimp swim around, I applied a refreshing modeling mask to nourish my face. Haha. The home care routine I'm totally hooked on these days is this large-capacity diatomaceous earth modeling mask.
Honestly, getting the powder and water ratio right at first is such a hassle, and it drips all over your clothes and the floor while you're applying it. Then there's the whole process of scraping the residue into the trash can because you're worried it might clog the sink... It’s quite a high barrier to entry for a home care product, isn't it? I bought it with high hopes at first, but after using it a few times, I got lazy and just shoved it in a corner. However, I recently got a great tip from a community forum and have started using it again.
First, if you mix in a soothing toner or a large-sized lotion instead of water to make the paste, the cooling sensation lasts much longer and the hydration is exceptional compared to using just water. Also, the key is to apply the ampoule generously before the mask, to the point where it practically drips from your face! I heard that the principle is that the modeling mask completely seals off the skin's surface to prevent air from reaching it, pushing the beneficial ingredients of the ampoule deep into the skin for full absorption.
When I apply a thick layer like this and peel it off after about 20 minutes, my skin glows with clear moisture from deep within, just like right after getting an expensive treatment at a dermatologist's. That satisfying feeling makes me do it at least twice a week, even though it's a hassle haha. When peeling it off, if there are any dried edges where the mask was applied thinly, just gently wipe them off with a cotton pad soaked in toner, and it comes off cleanly without any irritation. Honestly, I don't think anything beats this for instantly cooling down skin heat. I highly recommend it for those with severe redness or when your face feels itchy and like tiny bumps are about to pop up!
