How long does the effect of Vitaran last after a single injection? Honestly, is the duration a bit short?

My skin is so dry and dull that I'm thinking of trying Vitaran, but the duration is my biggest concern. No matter how good the ingredients are, I feel like it would be so anticlimactic if the effect only lasted a week and then went back to normal. I really wish it would last a bit longer.
