Have you ever tried applying various products to improve your skin, only to have it break out instead?
In the past, I thought that if my skin looked bad, applying more product would solve the problem.
I kept adding steps to my skincare routine—toner, essence, ampoule, cream, oil—but at some point, my skin started feeling stuffy and small bumps began to appear.
At first, I kept switching products because I thought they weren't right for me, but looking back now, I think my skin just wanted to rest.
These days, after washing my face, I only apply a soothing ampoule and a moisturizing cream, and my skin actually feels much more comfortable.
I've become even more careful, especially after visiting the dermatologist.
When I just blindly applied functional products because I wanted to get better quickly, I could really feel my skin becoming sensitive.
Is there anyone else like me who got greedy and added more steps to their skincare routine only to have their skin break out?
In the end, I think sometimes the answer to skincare is simply managing it.
