I noticed a difference in my skin condition just by sticking to my morning routine.

I used to think that I only needed to take good care of my skin in the evening. I believed that removing makeup, applying a face mask, and putting on cream before bed was all it took, but lately I’ve realized that my morning routine actually has a significant impact on my skin condition.

I start my day by drinking a glass of water as soon as I wake up. When I wake up, my body feels dry and my face is a bit puffy, but drinking water helps me feel more awake, so I’ve made it a habit. I started doing it not necessarily for my skin, but as I continued, it seems to be surprisingly helpful.

Also, I don't overdo my morning face wash. I used to scrub hard with cleansing foam, but that actually made my face drier and tighter starting in the morning. So these days, I wash lightly with lukewarm water or only use very mild products.

I tend to keep my morning skincare routine as light as possible. I usually stop at toner, a hydrating serum, a cream, and sunscreen; applying too much actually makes my makeup cake. Haha. It feels like just providing a moderate amount of moisture works best for my skin.

Also, if I have a little extra time in the morning, I put a cold skin pad from the refrigerator on my face for a moment because it tends to swell. After doing this, my skin feels a bit more refined, and I've noticed a difference in its condition when I apply makeup. It seems like my morning routine has become surprisingly important to me.
