There is a habit I unexpectedly cut back on for the sake of my skin.

While adding new things to improve your skin is important, I think the habits I cut back on were actually more effective. In the past, I tried to do everything that was supposed to be good for the skin, but I think that was actually excessive lol.

The first thing I cut back on was late-night snacking. Especially when I ate salty food or ramen late at night, the swelling in my face and my skin condition changed drastically the next day. I couldn't quit completely, but I definitely reduced the frequency.

The second is reducing the habit of touching my face. I realized that I unconsciously rest my chin on my hand or touch my cheeks more often than I thought. After cutting this habit, I felt less skin irritation.

I also reduced the use of multiple skincare products at once. In the past, I wanted to include every ingredient that was supposed to be good, but it felt like it actually burdened my skin.

Lately, I've been managing my skin by cutting down on unnecessary things rather than adding new ones, and my skin actually feels more stable. Ultimately, I think finding the right balance that suits my skin is what matters.
