I'm upset because my skin has completely broken out and is a total mess since I couldn't sleep properly.

I practically pulled all-nighters for a few days because of work and went to bed late every night, and now I'm in this mess... Since I'm sleep-deprived, my skin looks incredibly rough the moment I wake up in the morning. They say our bodies regenerate skin cells and repair the barrier while we sleep, but since I skipped that process, my skin has become extremely rough, and I can clearly see the loss of elasticity right before my eyes. It’s completely noticeable...

On top of that, I heard that lack of sleep stimulates the secretion of cortisol, a stress hormone. My skin became oilier than usual, completely disrupting my oil-moisture balance, and eventually, red breakouts started appearing on my chin and forehead. Melatonin needs to be released properly at night for the skin to stay clear, but since I couldn't sleep, my skin looked dull, and my dark circles extended all the way down to my chin. I even heard people say I looked really sick...
