Inquiry regarding laser treatment for melasma on thin eye area skin
Lately, I feel like my melasma and freckles are becoming more noticeable, so I'm considering getting a dermatological procedure. I'm especially self-conscious about the dark pigmentation around my eyes. Even when I try to cover them up with makeup, they don't disappear completely, and my skin tone looks patchy. I really want to take this opportunity to properly take care of them!
However, since the skin around my eyes is on the thinner side, I am worried about whether it is okay for me to get the procedure. The area around the eyes seems more sensitive than other parts of the body, and I find it difficult to make a decision because I am afraid that receiving a strong procedure might actually cause my skin to turn red or the pigmentation to darken.
I have heard that the appropriate treatment for melasma and freckles varies depending on the type and depth of the pigmentation, so I am wondering which treatment would be suitable for my skin. In particular, I would like to know if the procedure is possible on areas with thin skin, such as around the eyes, and if the intensity can be adjusted after thoroughly checking my skin condition before the treatment.
Has anyone here received treatment for melasma or freckles at Maypure? If you have consulted about pigmentation around your eyes, I am curious to know what treatment was recommended. I would also appreciate it if you could let me know about any redness or dryness you experienced after the procedure, and whether you actually felt the pigmentation fading.♡
