I want to get a lifting procedure, but I keep hesitating because of the pain. People around me say that depending on the type of procedure, it can feel quite stinging or hot, so I haven't been able to make an appointment right away.
I tend to be sensitive to pain, so I am curious about the experiences of those who have actually received the procedure. I would like to know how painful the lifting was and whether it was tolerable. I have heard that areas close to bone, such as the cheeks or jaw, are more painful, so I am wondering if there is actually a difference.
I would like to know if anesthetic cream is used before the procedure and if separate pain management is provided. I am also curious about how long facial swelling or the tingling sensation lasted after the lift. I have an important schedule, so if the recovery period is long, I think I will need to reschedule.
I imagine there are some people hesitating to get a lift due to the pain. I would appreciate it if those who have actually had the procedure could honestly let me know if it was better than expected or if it was quite painful.
