As I get older, my face is turning peanut-shaped. T_T
Hello. My face shape has been becoming increasingly uneven recently, and I am extremely worried about it, so I am seeking your advice.
I used to be told that I had a smooth, oval-shaped face, but at some point, the area below my cheekbones became deeply sunken, and the area around my jawline below that became bulging like a grumpy cheek, turning my face into a typical 'peanut shape.' These bumpy curves are so visible when I tie my hair up or look in the mirror from the front that it makes my overall impression look fierce and makes me look older than I actually am.
Especially when applying makeup, the sunken areas cast shadows while the protruding areas were accentuated, so even shading didn't provide good coverage. I tried dieting, but only lost weight, and this uneven face shape showed no signs of improvement, so I eventually decided to seek help from a dermatologist.
To smooth out this peanut-shaped face, should I fill in the sunken cheeks or temples with fillers or fat grafting? Alternatively, I am wondering if I would see better results by combining them with contouring injections to smooth out the bulging chin and deep cheek fat, or lifting procedures like InMode or Ultherapy. I would be very grateful if you could recommend the most suitable combination of treatments for my face shape!
