My cheeks are dry and flaky during the change of seasons. Should I start with moisturizing care before a lifting consultation?

As temperatures drop in the mornings and evenings these days, my cheeks have become unusually dry, and sometimes white flakes of dead skin appear. The photo is a close-up of the side of my cheek taken this morning.
I am planning to get a lifting consultation, and I am wondering if it would be better to stabilize my skin by moisturizing it first before the consultation or procedure, given my current condition. I would also like to know if the possibility of the procedure varies depending on whether my skin is dry or not.
Would it be helpful to prepare a list of the types of facial cleansers and moisturizers I currently use, as well as how often I use exfoliating products, for the consultation? I would like guidance on whether dryness might worsen after the procedure, and if so, what care guidelines I should follow. I would appreciate it if you could let me know if there are any other questions you would like to ask before booking.
