Is the Ulthera lifting cream anesthesia alone bearable?

While looking into lifting procedures, I was recommended the Ulthera laser.

However, after looking at reviews from others, I saw many comments saying the pain is quite severe, with a tingling or numb sensation in the bones. Since I tend to be a bit of a drama queen and can't tolerate pain well, I am hesitant to make an appointment.

They say it's fine if we apply a generous amount of anesthetic cream during the consultation,

I am wondering if it is really possible to withstand all the shots with just topical anesthesia.

I am debating whether to consider general anesthesia, so I am curious about the typical duration of the anesthesia process when receiving Ultherapy. I am also wondering about the intensity of the pain.
