I have a habit of looking down at the computer all day. Does this posture affect my facial contours?

하루 종일 컴퓨터 보고 고개 숙이는 습관이 있는데 이런 자세도 얼굴선에 영향이 있을까요?

Since I have an office job, I sit in front of a computer all day, and after work, I tend to look at my phone for a long time again haha. Come to think of it, I don't think I have much time during the day where I actually hold my head up properly.

Recently, while taking photos, I felt that the lower part of my face looked more constricted than before, so I started looking into lifting procedures. It suddenly occurred to me that my posture habits might also be having an impact.

I'm worried that even if I get a lift, my eyes will look blurry again quickly if I keep looking down all the time.

Is it actually common to discuss daily posture or lifestyle habits during a lifting consultation?

Rather than just getting the procedure and being done with it, I want to manage my health by gradually correcting my neck and shoulder posture. I think I need to start by changing my habit of sitting with my chin jutting forward all day long, haha.

Also, if my posture is poor, could my facial contours look duller in photos, regardless of actual skin elasticity loss?

I'm particularly bothered by photos or videos taken from below rather than from the front, but I'm not sure if it's a camera angle issue or if there's actually been a change lol.

I am wondering if it would be better to correct my posture for a few months and compare the results before considering a lift, or if it would be better to get a consultation first to check my current condition.

Are there any others out there like me who have started worrying about their facial contours due to forward head posture or excessive computer work?

If anyone has tried both lifting and lifestyle changes, I'd love to hear your experiences on which one made a bigger difference.

  • 저도 휴대폰 볼 때 고개를 자주 숙이는데 자세에 따라 턱선이 달라 보여서 생활습관부터 신경 써야겠다는 생각이 드네요ㅎㅎ
