I look fine when I tie my hair up, but why does my face look like it sags more when I let it down?

I'm not sure if it's just my imagination, but on days when I tie my hair up high, my facial features look a bit more defined, whereas when I let it down, the bottom part feels heavier haha.
I asked a friend, and she said that tying my hair up draws the eye upward, making it look that way, but to me, the difference seems quite significant.
So I'm thinking about looking into a lifting procedure. Is the significant difference in facial contours depending on my hairstyle related to skin elasticity?
I don't want my face to look pulled tight like when I tie my hair up; I just want my lines to look a bit more defined even when my hair is down.
Would it be helpful to show you a photo of my usual hairstyle during the consultation? I mostly wear my hair down, so I’d like to get a style that looks most natural in real life.
I am also wondering if it is better to plan a lift by looking at my usual appearance or photos from various angles, rather than deciding based only on looking straight ahead in the mirror.
From my perspective, it seems like the jawline is the problem, but in reality, it might just look heavy overall due to the lack of elasticity in other parts of the body.
I don't want the overall balance to become awkward because I'm focusing too much on just one part, so I want to ask them to look at my whole face during the consultation.
Is there anyone else like me who has been considering a face lift because their facial contours look drastically different every time they change their hairstyle?
I'm curious if my hair looked a little neater than before when I let it down after the procedure haha.
