Will the results be maintained if I receive consistent treatment for melasma?

I was looking at photos of my skin and saw that I have more freckles than I thought, so I suddenly started getting worried.

I don't usually look in the mirror up close, so I didn't notice, but looking at the photo, my cheekbones definitely looked dull.

Makeup covers it to some extent, but these days I prefer a thin finish.

I'm trying to keep the base as light as possible.

Because of that, my freckles are actually more visible, so it's stressful.

So this time, I'm thinking of getting proper treatment for my melasma.

But what I'm most curious about is how long the improvement lasts even after I get treatment for melasma.

When I looked it up online, I found it difficult to get started because there were many stories saying that melasma tends to recur.

It would be such a shame if me, having spent a lot of time and money on melasma treatment, saw it come back after a few months.

Of course, I know that the realistic goal is to make it as light as possible and manage it, rather than getting rid of it completely.

Still, I am curious to know how satisfied those who have actually received melasma treatment are with the results and how well they are maintaining them.

I am particularly curious about the experiences of those who developed melasma in their late 20s or 30s.

I never thought I would be this bothered by melasma, but at some point, it became my biggest skin concern.

I would also like to know if using sunscreen or home care along with melasma treatment helps maintain the results.

I'm wondering if it's easy for it to come back if I just get the procedure and neglect daily care.

I am also curious to know how the skin condition of those who have received melasma treatment multiple times has changed compared to the beginning.

In addition to simply fading the color of freckles, the skin tone has become even, or

I'm curious if it also has the advantage of looking clean overall.
