Can't the blemishes be treated and disappear in one go?

As small brown spots appear one by one on my face, they catch my eye every time I take a photo. I didn't used to mind a few, but now that there are so many, my skin tone itself feels messy. They do get covered up if I wear heavy makeup, but the difference is definitely noticeable when I'm barefaced.

I searched for information on blemish treatments, but I'm stuck right here. I've heard that even similar-looking pigments require different treatments depending on the type, and that laser treatment isn't always the answer. I'm wondering if it's possible for a dermatologist to diagnose something that looks like a regular blemish to me as a different type of pigment. I'm also curious whether the treatment method is decided on the spot after diagnosis, or if one visits several clinics before making a decision. I'd like to know about the procedure process as well. I'm not sure if the blemishes clear up immediately after treatment, or if they fade as scabs form and fall off. If a lot of scabs form on my face, I would have to make time for the appointment due to my job, and I'm also concerned about whether red marks will linger for a long time.

Another concern is post-treatment care. I’ve heard that blemishes can reappear if proper sun protection isn't maintained after treatment; is recurrence actually common? For those who have received multiple treatments, I’m also curious to know how much improvement there has been compared to the initial state. It is difficult to make a simple comparison because the cost seems to vary depending on the type of treatment and the number of blemishes.
