Will I feel the effects of the collagen booster around my nasolabial folds as well?
I would like to ask if collagen boosters are effective for concerns regarding the area around the nasolabial folds. Lately, even when I am not smiling, the area around my mouth looks slightly sunken, and I have been told a few times that my face looks more tired than before.
I'm still hesitant to get fillers right away, and I'm worried it might look too unnatural, so I'm looking into other options first. That's when I came across collagen boosters. Since they improve skin elasticity, would they help to some extent with the sunken appearance around my nasolabial folds? Of course, I know that collagen boosters aren't a procedure that immediately fills in volume like fillers do.
Still, I am wondering if I can expect my skin to feel firmer overall and look less sunken due to the collagen booster. I would also like to know if I need to consider my cheeks and skin elasticity in addition to my nasolabial folds, rather than just the nasolabial folds themselves. If I have a consultation, will you be able to assess my facial balance and advise me on whether I need fillers or if the collagen booster should come first?
