It feels like the pores on the sides of my nose and cheeks are getting bigger. Can I still see results in managing my pores with a skin booster?
Once you start noticing pores, there really is no end to it lol.
I used to only be concerned about the pores on my nose, but recently, it feels like they are gradually widening on both my cheeks as well. It is especially bothersome to see the dots visible from the sides of my nose to the front of my cheeks when I look under bright lighting after washing my face.
What's even more upsetting is when I wear makeup. I can just let it slide when I'm barefaced, but when I apply cushion foundation or regular foundation, it looks fine at first, but after a few hours, the makeup starts settling into my pores. And if I touch up, it doesn't improve; in fact, it makes it even more noticeable haha.
At first, I tried to solve the problem with pore-minimizing cosmetics. I tried pore serums, clay masks, and bought all sorts of other products. Although I felt like the sebum was being cleared, it didn't seem to make much of a difference to the pores that were already visible.
I looked into lasers first, but while searching, I noticed quite a few people are getting skin boosters for enlarged pores.
I thought skin boosters were mainly for hydration or radiance, but I suddenly became interested after hearing that they are also widely used for skin texture or pore care.
For those of you who have actually tried skin boosters because of enlarged pores, what was your experience like?
Does it feel like the pores just look less noticeable because my skin has become firmer, rather than the pores themselves getting smaller? I don't expect them to disappear completely, but I think I'll be satisfied if they show less than they do now when I wear makeup.
Also, I am more concerned about the pores on my cheeks than my nose, so I am wondering if you feel a lot of effect on these areas as well.
You probably won't notice much after just one session, right? Haha. For those who started this for pore care, I'd also like to know if there was a moment after a few sessions when you thought, "Ah, it definitely looks better than before."
