Would it be too rushed to get a skin booster a week before an important appointment? I'm curious when my skin will start looking good haha.
I have a get-together with my friends scheduled for next month for the first time in a really long time!!
Since I'm seeing friends I haven't seen in years, I feel like I'd at least like to go with my skin in good condition haha. I'm not the only one who feels this way, right? ^^
I'm not usually the type to invest heavily in my skin, but perhaps because I've been working a lot of overtime lately, my face looks really tired. Even on days when I get enough sleep, my skin feels dull and my makeup doesn't seem to adhere well.
So, I’m thinking of trying a skin booster for the first time this time.
But scheduling the procedure is my biggest worry.
I've heard that skin boosters aren't a treatment that makes you look beautiful immediately; it takes a few days for your skin to look better. Conversely, I've also heard that right after the procedure, your face might appear uneven or red, which could actually make your skin look worse.
In that case, based on an important appointment, how far in advance would it be best to receive it?
I'm curious to hear from those who have actually received it about whether a week in advance is enough, or if it's better to leave about two weeks of leeway.
I'm not looking for a huge change. I'll consider it a success if my makeup applies well, my skin has a subtle glow, and I look great on the day of the gathering :)
When did your skin look its best after receiving the skin booster? I'm curious if it was after about 3 to 4 days, or if it was better after 1 to 2 weeks.
Since this is my first time getting this, I'm worried that if I get a bruise, it might last a long time. Is there a lot of individual variation in injection marks or bruising? I'm also curious if they last a little longer for people with thin skin.
Also, since this is my first time trying a skin booster before an appointment, would it be better not to get too carried away? I am also wondering if it would be better to start lightly with just one type rather than trying several things at once.
I'm wondering if I should avoid alcohol for a few days after the procedure haha. Since I happen to be at a gathering and might drink a little, I'd like to know how long I should wait after the treatment to be okay.
If anyone has tried a skin booster ahead of an important event like a blind date, wedding, or photoshoot, please let me know when you received it. I'd also love to hear in detail how your skin changed a few days after the treatment, rather than immediately afterward.
