If my skin remains rough even after exfoliating, could it be due to internal dryness?
My cheek skin has been consistently rough and dry, so at first I thought I had a lot of dead skin cells and used exfoliating products frequently. However, while it seemed to become smooth on the day of use, it would return to its original state after a few days. As I continued this cycle, I feel like my skin is actually becoming drier and more sensitive.
So I wonder if it’s not just a dead skin cell issue, but rather a lack of moisture deep within the skin.
The area around my nose is oily, so even though my whole face isn't dry, my cheeks feel particularly tight and rough, making them difficult to manage.
In this case, can I manage my skin texture and inner dryness at the same time by using a skin booster?
I am also wondering if it is better to restore my skin's moisture first rather than unconditionally removing dead skin cells. I would also like to know if I can decide on a procedure after checking the current condition of my skin barrier.
