My face feels hot, and all my pores have opened wide.
I have been experiencing a persistent phenomenon where heat suddenly rushes to my face and my pores open wide like breathing holes whenever I go to a slightly warm place or get nervous. Perhaps because my skin is thin and my skin barrier is weakened, even minor irritations cause redness. The increased heat causes the skin tissue around my pores to lose elasticity and sag, making my entire face look dull and dry. Even after frequently spraying soothing mists, washing with cold water, or using cooling sticks, the heat deep within my skin does not dissipate, and I cannot shake the feeling that only my pores remain gaping open. I am afraid of harsh treatments because I fear my thinned skin might break out, so I am hoping for a safe skincare routine that protects my skin barrier without damaging it while restoring elasticity to the pores that have been enlarged by heat. I would appreciate advice from those who, like me, have struggled with sensitive skin and enlarged pores caused by heat, but have successfully found a way to shrink them without irritation.
