Would a skin booster be worth trying for skin that is oily but feels tight underneath?

My skin is a bit of an ambiguous type, so I'm wondering if it would be okay for me to get a skin booster. On the surface, it looks quite oily, so it gets shiny by the afternoon and my makeup breaks down easily. However, after washing my face, I feel a really strong tightness deep down.
So, if I apply a lot of moisturizer, it feels stuffy right away, but if I apply it lightly, the dry feeling comes back after just a few hours. I'm not sure if this type of skin counts as what is commonly referred to as "internal dryness."
When I look up skin boosters, there is a lot of talk about hydration and moisture. Do people like me, who have oily skin on the surface, often benefit from them?
I'm a little worried that getting the skin booster might make my skin shinier or feel stuffy for no reason, haha.
What I want isn't a shiny glow, but for my skin to feel less tight after washing and for its condition to be a bit more consistent throughout the day. I also want to reduce the way my skin looks suddenly exhausted by the afternoon, even though it feels fine in the morning.
I am also curious if, during the consultation, you recommend which type of skin booster is right for you based on your current oil production and skin condition.
Has anyone else started using a skin booster like me because their skin feels oily on the outside but dry underneath?
I'm curious if you felt your skin became more comfortable after the treatment, rather than if your oiliness increased. Please share your actual experiences if you have a similar skin type.
