I got an Aqua Peel for the summer and gave my pores a deep cleanse lol. A real review with all the sebum drained out!!

Hi everyone! I hope you're all having a wonderful weekend. Haha. Yesterday, I was relaxing at home when I looked in the mirror. The dark blackheads embedded in my nose and the bumpy whiteheads under my chin were such an eyesore that I impulsively booked a same-day appointment at a dermatologist and went to get an Aqua Peel. Haha. I tried using nose strips and scrubbing with cleansing oil at home, but they just wouldn't come out cleanly, so I figured it would be better for my mental health to just leave it to a professional. ㅠㅠ

I've had Aqua Peel a few times before, and every time I get it, I think it's the best value for money treatment haha. There was no need to apply numbing cream; we just cleansed and went straight into the procedure. As the machine glides over my face, it sucks the skin like a vacuum cleaner, and it feels so satisfying to have the sebum and impurities clogging my pores pulled out one by one haha. A solution that gently dissolves dead skin cells comes out along with it, so there's hardly any skin irritation, and it feels surprisingly refreshing—it's almost addictive ㅠㅠ. In particular, the esthetician rolled the machine so meticulously and intensively on my nose and chin areas, which were my biggest concerns, so I was inwardly overjoyed haha.

After finishing the sebum extraction for about 15 minutes, I cooled down my pores with a modeling pack and completed the soothing treatment. When I looked in the mirror, I was genuinely amazed. The blackheads that had been stuck in my nose like strawberry seeds were almost all gone, and the bridge of my nose was smooth and shiny. The bumpy sebum under my chin was also completely cleared out, making my skin texture incredibly soft. It was so smooth to the touch that I found myself touching my cheeks all day long.

Now that the sebum is completely gone, my makeup definitely applies so well today, and my skin tone feels a shade brighter, so it’s a joy to look in the mirror haha. During the summer, when sebum production increases, I really think getting an Aqua Peel regularly once or twice a month to deep-cleanse your pores is the way to go ㅠㅠ. The cost is also quite affordable compared to other laser treatments, so it’s perfect for office workers to squeeze in a quick break during their lunch hour haha. If you’re stressed out because your makeup looks patchy due to blackheads or dead skin cells, you should definitely try an Aqua Peel. It truly opens up a whole new world haha.
