I am curious about the side effects of fillers.
Hello! I am a filler beginner considering taking the plunge and getting some fillers.
But I'm the type of person who worries a lot... so I've been digging into reviews about side effects on YouTube and online communities for days. I've seen so many scary things like necrosis and blindness that I just can't bring myself to make a decision. ㅠㅠ
I would like to ask a few specific questions to those who have actually undergone the procedure or to the experts!
Distinguishing between pain and swelling: Is there a significant difference in the sensation between just swelling after a procedure and pain that makes you think, "Ah, this is definitely a side effect"? Are there any tips for a layperson to distinguish between bruising and warning signs of necrosis?
Delayed inflammation: I've heard that some people experience 'delayed inflammation,' where their skin suddenly swells up months or even years after getting the injection. Is there really a big difference between domestic and imported products regarding this? Or is it just a matter of luck?
Criteria for choosing a hospital: I understand that I absolutely must go to a place run by a specialist, but is there a way to know in advance if the hospital handles side effects well? (For example, whether dissolving injections are always on hand, etc.)
Post-procedure care: Do I really have to refrain from alcohol or cigarettes for a week? I am also curious if wearing glasses or sleeping on my side has a significant impact on shape deformation.
Nodules (Clumps): Do I absolutely have to dissolve the granular lumps that become palpable over time, or will they be absorbed by the body if I just leave them alone?
Honestly, I really want to look pretty, but I can't sleep because I'm worried about suffering from side effects. ㅠㅠ For those of you who were as worried as I was, if you are satisfied with the procedure or have any advice on "what to be careful about," please feel free to share it!
