hello.
I had a tooth filled with gold in the past while treating a cavity, but it fell out recently, so I went back to the dentist to have it reattached.
However, ever since it was reattached, whenever I chew food on that side, it feels like the height is off, and chewing is very uncomfortable. Naturally, I have started chewing only on the opposite side, but I am worried that the jaw muscles on that side seem to be developing more because I keep using only one side.
My face isn't noticeably asymmetrical when I look in the mirror yet, but when I touch it, one side of my jaw feels firmer and larger. I am wondering if jaw muscles can actually develop in cases like this.
First, I plan to go to the dentist to have the height of my gold crown readjusted... but I am concerned about whether getting jaw Botox would be helpful due to my already developed jaw muscles.
Has anyone had a similar experience? I am curious to know if the discomfort was resolved after having the gold teeth readjusted, or if anyone has tried jaw Botox.
