How careful should I be when chewing after getting Botox in my jaw?
I sometimes feel stiffness in my jaw muscles when I wake up in the morning, and when I take photos, it is clearly visible that my jaw muscles are tight and protruding, so I want to get Botox. However, I heard that it is best not to eat things like squid or chewing gum after the procedure. I am confused whether this means I should be careful in the initial period after the treatment, or if it means I should avoid them permanently, so I am asking for clarification. I understand that Botox paralyzes the muscles; does chewing tough food cause the paralysis to wear off? Also, if I do a lot of chewing exercises after the procedure, my muscles won't get bigger than before, right?
I usually enjoy eating and tend to chew my food more thoroughly than others before swallowing, but now that I am considering Botox, even my daily habits are becoming a concern. ㅜㅜ I would appreciate advice from those who have had the procedure, such as how long I should be careful about chewing after the treatment and whether the effects will diminish if I eat as usual.
