If I stop getting Botox regularly, will wrinkles appear more severely than before?
I'm seriously considering getting regular Botox treatments because I'm bothered by the fine lines that keep appearing on my forehead and between my eyebrows, but I'm holding back because of what I've heard from others. I've heard plenty of times that once you start getting it once or twice, you have to keep getting it for the rest of your life, but I also heard that if you stop getting regular Botox in the middle, the effects wear off and the wrinkles become much deeper and more severe than before.
Hearing you describe it like forcibly tying up muscles and then letting them release, causing skin elasticity to drop drastically and the skin to crumble—wow... It’s already sad enough dealing with skin aging as I get older, but now I’m worried that if I try to smooth out my wrinkles now, I won't be able to take care of them properly later, and they’ll end up looking even more wrinkled and unsightly than before. Ugh, my head is just a mess with all these thoughts.
