For a square jaw, is Botox effective if it targets muscle rather than bone?
Perhaps due to bad habits like clenching my teeth while sleeping or chewing tough foods like squid, the muscles under my ears and jaw have developed significantly. When I look in the mirror from the front, my lower jaw area looks particularly wide and heavy, as shown in the photo, making my overall impression look rough and harsh. Even after getting meridian massages, the knots haven't shrunk at all, so I'm planning to get Botox, which is known to definitely reduce muscle volume. Regarding the effects of Botox for a square jaw, how long after the injection does the slimming effect usually start to become visible? If my body type consists of large, knotted muscles rather than bone, I'm curious if the Botox really has a dramatic effect that refines the jaw into a smooth V-line. Please share your experiences and tell me if this is a highly satisfying procedure! 🙌
