Is it okay to get Botox before an important event? I'm curious about how long it takes for the results to look natural after the procedure.
We're taking family photos next month, so I've suddenly become interested in facial care haha. Usually, I would just let it slide, but since photos last a long time, I find myself worrying about this and that for no reason.
My biggest concern is the wrinkles around my eyes and my forehead that appear when I smile.
So I'm thinking about getting Botox, but I can't seem to make an appointment because I'm worried that if I get it too close to the photoshoot, my facial expression might look awkward.
I've heard that the effects of Botox appear a few days after the procedure rather than immediately. How far in advance should I get it done based on an important schedule?
I'm also wondering if a week is enough, or if it's better to leave at least two weeks of buffer time.
Since it's my first time getting Botox, I'm not sure how my face will react, so I think it might be better to allocate a little extra.
Has anyone ever gotten Botox before an important event like a wedding, photoshoot, or trip?
I am curious if there was any swelling or visible injection marks during the first few days, and I would also like to know when you started wearing makeup as usual.
Rather than a dramatic effect, I’d like my smiling expression to remain the same in photos, but just have my wrinkles look a little less noticeable.
I kept worrying that getting Botox would make my facial expressions look awkward, but for those of you who got natural-looking results, did people around you not even notice? Haha.
Also, if getting Botox for the first time right before an important schedule is burdensome, I am considering whether it might be better to start after the shoot is finished.
For those of you who have received Botox, please let me know when your face felt the most natural. I'm also curious about the actual procedure time and recovery process!
Since it's my first time, I'm worrying for no reason. I'd appreciate some realistic reviews from those who have gotten Botox before an important event. :)
