I'm considering getting chin Botox. Does it tend to naturally smooth out an uneven jawline?
Lately, my chin keeps catching my eye because it doesn't look smooth whenever I take photos. I don't really notice it normally, but when I close my mouth or tense it, my chin tends to look bumpy.
I used to just think my jaw shape was naturally like this, but after looking it up, I found out that some people get Botox because of their chin muscles.
Has anyone here ever had chin Botox?
What I'm most curious about is how natural the effect is. I don't want my jaw to look completely different; I just want the bumpy feeling to be reduced a little when I tense it.
I am curious if the skin on the tip of the chin looks smooth immediately after getting Botox, and I would also like to know if it changes gradually over time.
I'm also a little worried that the expression around my mouth might look awkward when I smile or talk. It seems like the chin is connected to facial expressions more than I thought, so I'm 괜히 scared since it's my first time.
I'm also curious if a smaller amount of Botox is typically used for the chin compared to other areas. I prefer a moderate, natural finish rather than a strong application.
I would also like to know how long the effects last. I am curious if many people receive treatments continuously at intervals of a few months, like with square jaw surgery, or if it is more common to get them occasionally when needed.
I heard that the Botox procedure itself is relatively short, but I'm curious if there is a lot of pain in the chin area haha. I want to know if it is bearable even without anesthesia.
If anyone has received Botox for their chin, please share your experiences regarding your satisfaction before and after, and whether the change was noticeable enough for those around you!! ^^
