How did you take care of your skin after getting Botox?
Hello. Recently, as I have been considering getting Botox for the first time, I have become more curious about post-procedure care than the procedure itself. When I asked people around me who have had Botox, they told me there are a few precautions to take immediately after the treatment. However, since the advice varies slightly from person to person, I would like to hear the opinions of those who have actually experienced it.
Since I tend to exercise frequently, my biggest question is whether it is safe to work out on the day or the day after getting Botox. I would also like to know if it is advisable to avoid places that generate a lot of heat, such as saunas or steam rooms, for a certain period, or if it is okay to go about my daily life as usual. I am also curious about when I can comfortably resume basic daily activities like washing my face and applying makeup.
I also heard that the effects of Botox don't appear immediately, so I'm curious if it took you a few days to actually notice any changes. I'd like to hear your experience—whether there is no change at first and it gradually improves, or if you suddenly feel the effects at some point.
Has anyone experienced bruising or soreness after a Botox procedure? If so, I am curious how long it lasted. I have an important event coming up, so I want to plan for the recovery period in advance.
If this is someone receiving Botox for the first time, please share any helpful tips to keep in mind before or after the procedure. I would also appreciate it if you could share any differences between the information provided by the clinic and your actual experience.
