My nasolabial folds are deeply etched and shadowed. Has anyone tried getting fillers?
Even when I'm not doing anything, a deep, figure-eight-shaped furrow is clearly etched from the sides of my nostrils to the corners of my mouth, making me look much older every time I look in the mirror. Whenever I go to a place where the lighting falls from above, a deep shadow falls beneath the wrinkles, and I often hear that I look grumpy and tired. No matter how thickly I apply lifting cream or how much I massage, home care doesn't fill in the empty spaces caused by the sunken skin itself at all. It's fine when the folds naturally when I smile, but it is so stressful that they look deeply sunken even when I have a neutral expression, so I am considering nasolabial fold fillers to physically fill in the wrinkles. I am worried that it might be too excessive and make me look like a monkey, or that it might feel too foreign. I would like to hear honest reviews from those who, like me, successfully got fillers for deep nasolabial folds and naturally erased only the shadows.
