My jaw has become severely uneven from chewing only on one side. Can jaw Botox make it symmetrical?
Whenever I take a photo, my right jawline protrudes noticeably in a square shape, making the asymmetry between the left and right sides of my face very noticeable. I’ve had a long-standing habit of chewing only on one side of my molars, so the masseter muscle on that side has become abnormally thick. When viewed from the front, even the corner of my mouth looks slightly crooked. When I clench my teeth in front of a mirror, the size of the protruding muscles definitely differs quite significantly between the left and right sides. I’ve heard that adjusting the dosage differently on each side can help align the lines to some extent, so I’m curious if anyone who has actually gotten jaw Botox to correct this asymmetry saw any results. I’m also wondering if it might be uncomfortable since the chewing sensation is different on each side.
