This is my first time getting Botox. Is it possible to get a natural-looking result that isn't too obvious?

I've been interested in Botox for a while, but now that I'm actually about to get it, my biggest worry is that my facial expressions will look awkward.

I don't want to get rid of my wrinkles completely; I just want to slightly reduce the lines that become too pronounced when I make facial expressions.

A lot of people around me say they were satisfied with their Botox, but some say their facial expressions felt unfamiliar for the first few days, so I keep hesitating haha.

I tend to be very expressive, so it is important to me that my facial movements are natural when I smile or talk.

In this case, if I ask for a natural finish from the beginning during the consultation, would it be possible to adjust the result to some extent?

I am curious if there are cases where first-time Botox recipients start with a slightly weaker dose and observe the results, rather than expecting a strong effect from the beginning.

I also want to know if facial movements change immediately after the procedure or if the effects of Botox appear gradually after a few days.

I think I'd get unnecessarily startled if I looked in the mirror the next day and saw that my expression had suddenly changed drastically, haha.

I am curious to know if the results will look natural to me after the Botox has set, and if the people around me will notice it immediately.

I'm wondering if I can expect the feeling of makeup settling into wrinkles to be slightly reduced when I wear it.

I think I would be perfectly satisfied if my skin just looked smooth.

For those of you receiving Botox for the first time, how did you explain the desired level during the consultation?

I am wondering if it is okay to ask you to make it a little softer rather than removing it completely.

I'm scared since it's my first time, but if it looks natural and not too obvious, I'd like to give it a try.
