Is it possible to feel like your facial expression becomes heavy after getting Botox?
When looking into Botox, it seems like the two most common reviews I see are that it looks natural and that it makes your facial expressions look stifled.
I do want to smooth out my wrinkles a bit, but I really hate it when my facial movements look sluggish.
I tend to have a lot of facial expressions, so it's important for me to move naturally when I smile or am surprised. However, I'm a little worried because I heard that getting Botox can change the very sensation of using force.
Are there actually people who felt their face was heavy or tight when they first got Botox?
I'm curious if it feels awkward only for the first few days and you get used to it over time, or if a similar feeling lingers as long as the effect lasts.
I don't want a change big enough for people around me to notice immediately.
It’s enough if the lines are just a little less visible in the photo and the overall expression becomes softer haha.
If I mention this in advance during the consultation, is it possible to start with a lower intensity?
If this is my first time getting Botox, I'm wondering if getting just a small amount without being too ambitious might look more natural.
Also, if I feel that my facial expression looks awkward after the procedure, I would like to know if it is common for it to naturally adapt over time.
It looks fine when I look in the mirror, but I'm a little worried that it might feel awkward only in photos or videos haha.
For those of you who have received Botox multiple times, did you come to understand the right amount for you better later on than the first time?
I am curious if there are cases where it felt a bit awkward at first, but satisfaction increased starting from the second time.
For those of you who, like me, prioritized a natural look the most, please let me know what it was like to actually get the treatment.
It would be really great if, instead of a blank expression, I could maintain my usual look while just having my wrinkles slightly less visible haha.
