I would like to inquire about a consultation for palmar hyperhidrosis during the change of seasons. I would like to know about pain, disruption to daily life, and the duration of the effects.

Hello! Even though it is the transitional season with chilly and dry weather, my palms sweat excessively when I am nervous or active, causing significant discomfort in my daily life. I am very self-conscious because my palms get damp when handling documents, the keyboard, or the mouse at work, and I often feel embarrassed when shaking hands or touching a smartphone screen. Many people around me have highly recommended palmar Botox treatment, saying that it definitely reduces sweating and makes things more comfortable, so I am seriously considering a consultation. I have a few questions, so I am leaving an inquiry on the Maypure Community.
1. I’ve heard that the procedure can be quite painful because the skin nerves in the palm area are sensitive. I’m wondering if pain is generally well managed with anesthetic creams or cooling anesthesia. 2. I would also like to know how much it interferes with daily life immediately after the procedure, such as weakness in the fingers or stiffness when gripping objects. 3. Please advise on when the effects usually appear and how long they last after a single treatment, and whether I need to worry about developing resistance if I get injections regularly. It would be a great help if anyone who has received palm Botox for similar symptoms could share honest reviews or tips. Please take care not to catch a cold and have a wonderful day!
