Can hyperpigmentation occur after a blemish removal procedure?

I'm considering getting a treatment for my blemishes, but I got a bit scared after reading that it could actually cause hyperpigmentation. I originally intended to get rid of the blemishes, but if they get darker, I think I'll have a total mental breakdown.

I've heard that UV protection is especially important, and since I tend to go outside often, I'm even more worried. I'm wondering if the spots could actually get darker if I don't take care of them properly after the treatment lol.

Also, since my skin tends to be sensitive, I'm worried that the laser irritation might cause breakouts or redness to last a long time. I would be so upset if I went overboard with the blemish treatment and my skin condition ended up getting worse.

I’ve heard that I need to take good care of my skin with regenerating creams and sunscreens after blemish treatments, and I’d like to know just how much attention I actually need to pay. I’m also curious if hyperpigmentation is almost non-existent if I manage it well.
