How many sessions are recommended for laser hair removal on the forearms?

I’m a hairy person whose hair becomes a constant worry every summer. I inherited this hair from my dad, and I don't know why there is so much of it on my arms. While others probably ask a lot about laser hair removal for their legs or underarms, my concern is my arms. The hair on my arms is long and dense all over. My arms got tanned from wearing short sleeves, and with all that hair on top of the tan, they look especially dark and messy. For arms like this, what would be the recommended number of sessions and treatment frequency for laser hair removal? I’ve heard that laser hair removal usually reduces hair thickness and lightens the color; would the hair on my arms be less visible if it gets thinner? Ideally, I’d love to have completely bald arms. It would be very helpful if you could give me a rough estimate of how many sessions I would need to achieve bald arms and how much a hair removal package would cost. Oh, and is laser hair removal on the arms more painful than on the legs? The skin on my arm is softer, so I'm a bit scared of the pain.
