This is my first time at a dermatology clinic. What treatment would be suitable for sensitive skin with blemishes?
It’s so stressful seeing my freckles and blemishes gradually increasing every time I look in the mirror. My skin is already on the thinner and more sensitive side, and with these blemishes appearing so messily, my complexion looks dull overall, so I think I need to start taking care of it. Since cosmetics just aren't working, I am considering getting laser or toning treatments at Maypure, which is famous for being cost-effective and thorough.
But since I'm a complete beginner with no prior experience with cosmetic procedures, it's hard to choose because there are so many types of machines. My skin is on the delicate side, so I'm worried that if I get the wrong laser treatment, my skin might break out or get even redder. What kind of treatment do people like me, who have sensitive skin and concerns about pigmentation, usually start with? I've heard that Pico Toning is less irritating, so I'm wondering if it's okay to get it on sensitive skin.
Also, with this type of toning treatment, can you usually feel your complexion brightening after just one session? I've read reviews saying that to properly remove pigmentation and maintain the effects for a long time, you need to get treatments regularly—at least 3 to 5 sessions or more. I would like to know how to typically schedule the first session. I'm also curious if the pain is bearable with anesthetic cream and if I can resume my daily activities immediately after the procedure!
I'm scared I might end up getting the wrong treatment and just wasting my money. If any of you have been to Maypure, please share some treatment recommendations or tips from a beginner's perspective. I'll be waiting for your reply!
