I want to remove a mole on my face. What procedure would be best?
I have several moles on my face, both large and small, so I am considering having them removed. I didn't really mind them before, but lately the moles around my cheeks and nose seem particularly noticeable. They don't completely cover up even with makeup, so I am thinking about getting a mole removal procedure at a dermatology clinic.
I looked it up and found that the type of laser used varies depending on the size and depth of the mole, and while some moles can be removed in a single session, others require multiple treatments. I am curious about the general method used to remove small moles on the face. I would also like to know if the same procedure is used for larger or darker moles, or if a different laser is employed.
I am curious about how many days I need to wear a healing tape after mole removal, and when I can wash my face or apply makeup. I am also worried about whether red marks or hyperpigmentation might remain at the removal site for a long time. I would appreciate it if you could let me know if it is okay to remove all the moles at once if I have multiple moles on my face, and how often the procedures are typically spaced apart!
