I would like to inquire about laser hair removal for my husband's nose and chin, as he has severe skin trouble from shaving!
I am writing this to ask for advice as I was reminded of my husband's skin concerns, as he gets stressed every morning because of shaving. Since his beard grows quickly, no matter how cleanly he shaves in the morning, bluish patches appear under his nose and around his chin by the afternoon. On top of that, because he shaves with a manual razor every day, red breakouts resembling folliculitis frequently break out, and the skin around his chin has become dry, cracked, and rough; it is to the point where I feel sorry for him just looking at it.
I've tried switching to an electric shaver and even bought him soothing shaving foam, but since that didn't provide a fundamental solution, I'm planning to take this opportunity to get laser hair removal at a dermatology clinic. People around me have also strongly recommended that men receive systematic beard care at a dermatology clinic, saying it saves time getting ready in the morning and provides much higher satisfaction in terms of improving skin texture.
I am looking into the men's beard removal program at a nearby Maypure. Has anyone here had the treatment done on their philtrum or chin themselves, either for their husband or for themselves? I am curious about the level of pain if the hair is on the thicker side, and how often consistent sessions are typically required to maintain a clean finish without bluish marks. Sharing your experiences regarding redness on the day of the procedure or precautions for daily life would be a huge help!
I hope everyone has a great rest of Thursday and finishes it on a high note. I look forward to your kind comments. Thank you! Haha.
