I am upset about the bumpy texture on my forehead. Should I get extractions, or is laser treatment the answer?
Hello. I am writing to ask for advice regarding the unevenness on my forehead that bothers me every time I look in the mirror.
At some point, small, bumpy irregularities started appearing around my forehead. They show no signs of disappearing over time and seem to be getting wider instead. They aren't very noticeable from a distance, but when I look up at them or in the light, my forehead looks uneven, which really bothers me. I am extremely stressed because even when I apply foundation or cushion, the makeup settles into the bumps or actually makes them look even more prominent.
I simply cannot tell on my own whether these are milia caused by hardened sebum, or if it is a problem with dead skin cells or enlarged pores. I have tried squeezing them with my hands or scrubbing at home, but the effect was only temporary, and it seemed to just make my skin more sensitive.
Ultimately, I want to restore my forehead to a clear and smooth state with the help of a dermatologist. I am curious about the exact cause of the unevenness on my forehead, and I would appreciate your recommendation on which approach would be best to smooth it out: effective extraction treatments, scaling, or procedures like lasers or Aqua Peel that reduce sebaceous glands!
