How many sessions of beard laser hair removal are needed to see results?
I am considering laser hair removal because the facial hair on my philtrum and chin is usually thick and grows quickly. Even if I shave in the morning, stubble reappears by the afternoon, and shaving frequently causes my skin to become red or breakouts, which is inconvenient.
I looked into laser beard removal and found that it is not a procedure finished in just one or two sessions, but requires consistent treatment over several times. I am curious how many sessions are typically needed to see a noticeable reduction in beard hair. I would also like to know if areas with thick, dense hair, such as the philtrum and chin, require more treatment sessions than other areas.
I am also curious about the level of pain during the procedure and how to shave before and after. My skin is on the sensitive side, so I am concerned about the possibility of side effects like redness or folliculitis after laser hair removal. Rather than getting rid of my beard completely, I would like to trim it naturally enough to reduce the frequency of shaving; I am wondering if laser hair removal is suitable in this case.
