How many Pico Toning sessions do I need to see a difference?
Having an uneven skin tone is actually quite stressful. My skin isn't dark overall, but if I look at my cheekbones or cheeks, the color isn't uniform and there are small blemishes mixed in, so I don't think I give off a clean impression. It gets covered up with makeup, but it is more visible than I expected on my bare face.
This is also why I am looking into Pico Toning. After searching online, it seems that some people get it to manage their overall skin tone, not just freckles or blemishes. However, I've heard a lot of talk about needing several sessions, so I'm wondering if it's difficult to expect significant changes with just one or two.
I am particularly curious about how the laser intensity is determined during Pico Toning. Since my skin tends to be sensitive, I prefer to manage it slowly with a less irritating method rather than using a high setting to see quick results. I am also wondering if those who have actually received the treatment found that the clinic adjusted the intensity according to their skin condition.
I would also like to know if the procedure itself is very painful. I can't get a sense of it because opinions vary so much from person to person regarding whether it is just a stinging sensation or if anesthesia is required. I am also curious whether I can wash my face or apply makeup immediately after the procedure, and how long the redness lasts.
For those who have consistently received Pico Toning, I would like to know if you noticed any significant difference during the first few sessions but then felt your skin tone changed at some point. Conversely, I am also curious if there are cases where you received multiple sessions but did not feel any major changes.
I would also like to know why Pico Toning prices vary from clinic to clinic. I am not sure if the difference is simply in the number of shots, the equipment, or if the treatment method itself is different. I would appreciate it if those with actual experience could share the criteria they used to choose a clinic.
