What is the effectiveness of melasma treatment when it is accompanied by blemishes?

When I look around my cheeks, there is a broad, faint brownish tint with small, dot-like pigments in between, so I am wondering how I should get melasma treatment.

It seems like there isn't just one type of pigmentation, so I'm not sure if it can all be treated with the same laser.

Small blemishes are relatively distinct, while the widely spread areas have blurred boundaries, making them appear different.

Can I expect effective melasma treatment in this case as well? I am also curious whether small blemishes are managed along with melasma, or if the treatment is divided by type of pigmentation.

I would also like to know if you can differentiate the pigmentation condition of each individual before starting melasma treatment.

Rather than doing it intensely all at once, I would like to manage it in a sequence tailored to my skin condition.
